Jacksonville code enforcement just stepped in it big time

A code enforcement officer in Jacksonville, FL gave a warning citation to Jaguar Power Sports cycle shop for flying the flags of the branches of the U.S. military on their building, and said some pretty nasty things about a veteran in the process. It's an ongoing story that looks like it will have a good ending for the cycle shop.

    The city government has been getting heat from all over and as far away as California. They're on the hot seat to get the situation handled ASAP! The code woman and her supervisor have both been suspended while the investigation is ongoing. I'm guessing the city government is feeling a LOT of heat to get it handled quickly. Jacksonville has a lot of active and retired military, and they aren't taking it lying down.

    This just points out the fact that there is nothing more crooked and unreasonable as a chickenshit local gov't agency - esp. planning, building, and code enforcement depts.

    Yeah. It's definitely Jacksonville, FL where this incident occurred. I'd hate to be in the city government in Jacksonville, NC and getting blindsided by that mess that they weren't involved in. I guess some folk can't be bothered to read where the state was, and just jumped on the city name! :D
