14 keepers.  ONE fish shy of a limit. Couldnt tell you how many short fish we caught, but it was a bunch.
My buddy had 7-8, plus 2 catfish and 2 walleye. One walleye was 17, one was 22". It was a PIG.

WRONG! It was a nice night of CATCHING!
I either fished one time last year, or zero times last year. Can't recall. First time this year, we did this. I'd call that a good trip!

That's a good looking mess of fish and I believe that's the first time we've seen a smile on your face in a while, but then your eyes are a little glassy and there's a Bud light carton on the ground.

Eyes were glossy because it was midnight or better. I only had two beers. And they were not bud light.

Just started around here too, nice catching there. Were they hitting minnows or jigs?

Minnows. Which sucks. I hate fishing with minnows. You've got to buy them, keep them alive, deal with them, etc. Gimme  a jig any day. Now they MAY have bit on jigs, but I know that they were biting minnows. Ain't no sense in being stubborn.

Since supermarkets solved the science of producing beef and pork and chicken from Styrofoam trays, we no longer need to farm, raise or ranch those animals for slaughter. Same with fish and other seafood. They can even get some fish like tuna to grow in cans! I can't imagine actually eating a fish that was pulled from the water (yuck) when the store can offer the same thing already cleaned and processed.
And now that vegetables are grown in plastic bags, farming them is an unnecessary hassle. I'd much rather eat a vegetable from a plastic bag than one grown in dirt mixed with poop and insecticides. If organic sounds tasty to you - bon appetite.

Went tonight, had three keepers. Lost a nice one, and a fair amount of others. Bastards weren't biting hard. And I was using jigs, not minnows.
