He drives off leaving an AMAZING weapon behind. It’s simple. Throw it in reverse, put it back in drive, run the bastard over.  Of course he would probably be in trouble for defending himself.

    Erm Sir?
    What is "drive".

The rest of the sentence is spot on.

"Drive" is the "D" on the PRNDL....meaning "go forward"

Must be one of them new-fangled self-driven shifters. He must mean "1"

    shush,

What kind of indicator do you have on vehicles with 'semi-automatic' shifting? Ours shows P for park, R for reverse, N for neutral, D for drive (forward), and L for low gear only (locks into a lower gear for pulling heavy loads at low speed).

      Instead of
    P ( Park)
    R (Reverse)
    N (Neutral)
    D (Drive)
    L (Low)

    They Have
    S ( Stationary)
    T ( Turn Around)
    I ( Impartial)
    H (Hurriedly)
    S ( Slowly)

The gear shift is reversed however cos everything is backwards over there...........Buffy actually described it a few years ago as 'sdrawkcab ', a term which is now in common use.

So their  shift 'indicator' reads................well, you can figure it out........

    You are welcome..

That big ass knife could even crack the window?!?!?!?!?!?!  Man it must be made out of plastic!  And yes you'd be a stain on the pavement if you pull that on me or mine...

He was almost a stain on the pavement which is why he drew the knife.

There are 2 canoes here, the one who ran the knife guy over, and the knife guy. Maybe the guy on the bike should have shot the guy that just tried to kill him.

One was a potential accident that never happened, the other was an attack with an illegal deadly weapon.  I've almost hit folks that I did not see because they came up from a blind spot, pretty sure everyone has had at least one close call.  An apology is usually sufficient, the reaction of the armed hothead was not appropriate.

Gotta agree with Wambli on this one.

Do people not see and hit, or almost hit other drivers? DAILY
Is it cause to attack them with a deadly weapon? Not if it was not them INTENTIONALLY trying to hit you.

I've been on both sides, almost hit, and almost been hit. There has been some horn blowing, and finger waving (again, in both directions) but never an attack with a deadly weapon.

Once, MANY years ago, one felt the need to show me his firearm, I responded by giving him a look at mine (his a 25 ACP and mine a 4" SS 357 Dan Wesson), and he decided it wasn't worth a "fair fight" and that was the end of that

Well it was an knife attack that was only potentially harmful, driver wasnt stabbed. The cars wheel is on top the bike. Didnt say the knife guy was justified, but the driver had a lot better weapon and had already used it. Just because he was stupid isnt a pass.
