Best Pistol/Carbine Course I’ve Ever Taken!

I just returned from the best pistol/carbine course I’ve ever participated in, and I’ve been to quite a few.
Barriers were breached, limits were pushed, foundations were shaken, and concepts transformed.
I can honestly say I’ve attended a course that pushed me beyond my limits and made me a better shooter overall.
Seriously, there were sacred cows of dogma that were sacrificed on the alter of reality and application.
I am not one who takes lecture as fact. I’m a “show me” kind of guy. Well, I have been shown and I have validated it for myself. Holy crap! I have been doing it wrong for so many years.
I went into this with one goal. To come out faster.
I am a new........and faster man.
Now to re-train the brain.

Most say, “Do it this way!”
He says, “This is the standard. So, try it this way, and this way, and this way, and this way to reach that standard.”
Explaining the pros and cons of each method while allowing that everyone is different and not any one way works for everyone.
There is assuredly a cat to be skinned. But, how you skin it matters not as long as it is skinned in the fastest, most efficient, and accurate way you can accomplish the skinning.
And with every different technique is a way to evaluate its efficiency. Not just feel look good, sound good, feel good teaching. But, result based standard of grading. A way of saying, “Well, THAT sure as Hell didn’t work! But, THIS sure as Hell did!”
I feel a Course was successful if I can walk out of it with a handful or less concepts that are useful to me.
There wasn’t ONE concept at this course that wasn’t based on practical reality that made sense and worked!
I’m hyper critical of instructors and courses in general.
Damn. This guy is good.
You can’t just say, “Well I like my way better.”
If you aren’t meeting the standard, well........the cat ain’t skinned.
Not everyone gets a trophy. THIS is the standard. And these are the ways you can meet that standard. Pick your path, but get it done.
