Friend of mine needed to turn some cash so he offered me a PRETTY good deal on his. So while I'm no admirer of the M 14, I took it off his hands.  I don't think it's been fired.  Wooden stock. I'll eventually post pictures.

Thats got to be headed for the next range trip.

I always wanted to try one, never have.

MK41 had a nice one. NM I think.

Shot it today, only at 25 yards distance but the sights were perfect.  Shot about 1/2" at that range.  The trigger is a two stage trigger that is crisp.  Had a magazine problem before I could get out to 100.   Magazine lips were stretched out so the rifle wouldn't load on the second and third rounds; it had to be single loaded and wouldn't hold the bolt back on last round.  And man was it hot.  I'm pleased with the rifle,  A little adjustment on the feed lips, once we got home, straightened that out.

    Shooting PMC cheap ammo.  FMJ.
