Next weekend I have to go on the roof and start winterizing the evaporative cooler.

Meanwhile the windows are still cracked open.

I hope there's some skeletons left over at the usual suspects stores that are marked down before/after Halloween to rock bottom prices. I have need of 2-4 of them but don't want to pay full price. And they are NOT for Halloween decorations.

He's going to coat them with bacon grease and bury them in the back yard of the governors mansion where the dogs are kept, just before making an anonymous call to the local news.

Munchkin size to around 4 feet or 4 feet 6inches tall. The ones 5 feet and over are obscenely expensive.
And they are NOT for targets. Their use will include some 150 lb. test monofilament fishing line, a screw eye and small pulley, and a screw eye in two trees. And a small speaker, amp that takes usb flash drive input, and a remote controlled on/off switch. Maybe a couple of big red diffuse LED eyes to glow in the skulls. And maybe a black cape of thin material that will flap easily.

Time for pumpkin spice everything ... today I saw pumpkin spice ice cream sandwiches. Now the bright side is the yoga pants and boots will be coming before long.

Be careful around the fire, then. If the fur catches fire then the chipmunks will be in danger, and your privates will become public! :D

Did the time change or is it? Fall Back and Spring Forward and all..........I haven't heard anything about it yet.

I fell back. When I recovered, it was still the same time.⏰

I think it starts in November . Back 1 hour.
The need to change the time twice a year escapes me.

The time change is the STUPIDEST thing ever promulgated. They're trying to do away with it here in Florida.

On the “daylight savings time” vs “your zone standard time” thing, I’m with Zorba and the others who say stop it. Now here’s the question ... What time do we go with? Stay with the previous “”standard time” and let it get darker earlier in the PM but earlier sunrise in the AM or stay on the “daylight savings time” and have more light in the PM but later sunrise? While it wouldn’t be the would cause fist fights people would not agree on which way to set it ... “I want the extra light in the PM when I’m off work” ... “Think about the children going to school in the dark” ... and some others I’m sure. As to me I’d deal with it either way ... and not really worry about it or ever having to spring forward or fall back again!

Anything is better than what is being done now. Florida wants to stay on DST all year - which works fine for me. But if we have to change, its backwards now: When the day is too short, "they" make it get dark sooner. When the day is too long, "they" make it get dark LATER. Where's the sense in that?

Arizona does not observe DST. I think Hawaii opted out as well.

Just leave it like it is now with the clocks an hour ahead. As to the kids going to school in the dark, just strap one of the big LED flasher lights to their heads so they can be seen. They come in different colors, too!

What  kids walking in the dark? Almost 100% of kids who don't ride the bus get driven to school.....

I hate the time change. It will be dark by the time I get home in the afternoon.

You're absolutely right, and it's great living here without it.
