  This doe will be my decoy when the rut begins. She follows me around but I can't pet her. Yet. 
  
  She has twins and they are learning not to fear me. Probably not a good life lesson considering all the hunting in the area.

  I had a neighbor that raised a doe, from a fawn, after her mother was killed by a car.  She lived in his house until wildlife mad him release her to the wile.  If he leaves the door open, she still comes in for food and affection.  Around Christmas he outs a big red bow around her neck.  During hunting season, he puts an orange Tennessee Volunteers T-shirt on her. robinh
