Just had to share

SO....Got an offer to apply for a position in a Unit (Sadly, not The Unit) as a SGM. My application was accepted. If I make it through assessment this next week, I will go to the community after graduation from the Academy. This is huge for me and keeps me engaged in multiple theaters. 

Looking at the others they picked from the Academy, I am very humbled I made the first the cut.

    It's free on demand through the end of the month. I get the 12th off from school for Veterans Day, so I'll probably watch it then

    I may have the look, but by and large I exercise Referent Authority. It gets me further. However, in this unit I will be a Cherry SGM in a unit that employs a large number of SGMs. 

    Thank you all. I am not through all the wickets yet. This weekend will be a big deal. They recruit guys for the ability to critically and creatively think to solve a problem. I made the first cut, and looking at the other guys that did, I almost feel a little out of my depth. This weekend will be the second cut, and monday will be the final cut.
