The Boy Back at It!
Staples pulled from his Thanksgiving collision with barbed wire, and back in the field. I hunted a piece of public land close to town that must get overlooked for roosters. It took us a short hour to fill our limit. He did a beautiful job on a runner, finding him 60-70 yds from where I dropped him.
As I said in the post about his cuts earlier, the birds aren’t thick, but if you’re willing to walk a lot, you can get some shots. Hopefully I’ll get out a couple more times before the season ends.
