What about commercial trucks? Every time that we drive up to Wisconsin to visit family for the holidays, we experience several semi trucks on the interstate that have huge sheets of ice and snow lift off of the trailer roofs once they hit highway speed. Most folks just deal with it as part of living up there.

That's different. They're pros.

42 degrees tonight...main roads are clear, secondary roads are a sheet of ice...only time I've been stuck this winter....the truck just would not go until I broke open one of the sand tubes I carry in the bed for weight and sand under the rear tires...
And fog....the warming temps and the snow on the ground are producing a tremendous amount of dense fog

Well they are supposed to clear the tops. That being a difficult thing most time, the need to go through the roof rake units in the yards. Problem is the get hosed big time if they don't do something to limit the crap on the roofs. Last trucking firm I was at, had a bunch of roof rake units in the yards in the northern locations. The drivers wer to go through them, and facility was to ensure they were in good order. If not we paid for a few vehicles that were damaged due to us( or other drivers on the road) neglect.
If you think OHSA is a little town in Wisconsin you may be in trouble!

I managed to get all the snow off of my car today... just for you.
Thank you, now did you use Michigan rain or flint water to do so?
Flint water is no worse than Detroit water now.
well yeah its the same water. saem pipe and same everything. only thing different is the massive amount of lead service mains to the houses in flint that have not been replaced at the home owners expense. Requiring me to pay more in taxes to pay for the fix on your private home is not appropriate. I do not recall the need to fix your home to make you feel better. Suck it up get a job and get it fixed.

We're hitting almost 90°.....great when you're at jumping distance from a water mass, but not funny during workdays. Last Saturday while surfing almost had to rip open my wetsuit due to heat (Jellyfishes forced me to use it but still got stung; have reached the point on almost being immune. Thank God current swept them away fairly quickly).
