I know enough to be dangerous. Our library has a few and I use blender as it can export .stl files which 3d printers read.
From what I understand is all comes down to resolution like a camera. The smaller is can go, the better print.
Any idea on what you need to print?

I'd try "Blender" first. Plenty of tutorials and community support.

These I did in Truespace, but can Import to Blender. I should take it down the to the library and print them off.

Just wondering if anyone else has one and if you’ve printed anything interesting.
So far we have only printed stuff off of thingiverse. But I’m looking into I guess CAD software so they can start designing their own stuff.
