Virginia first lady under fire for handing cotton to African-American students on mansion tour

Another deceptive headline. It implied the Black students were singled out to receive the cotton which was not true. They were disturbed. After reading the article I believe it was supposed to represent the horrors of slavery which is disturbing.

If the first lady gave them lumps of coal and asked what it would be like to be a miner, they would've been offended. These people crave attention, and the media aids the process by misleading headlines, such as this one.

When our governing officials dismiss due process as mere semantics, when they exercise powers they don’t have and ignore duties they actually bear, and when we let them get away with it, we have ceased to be our own rulers.
