Range time with Sakodude.

I love this forum, you meet the nicest people. Sakodude was in the area today so we took the Browning muzzleloader out for its first range session. Great guy and hit the black before I did. Great time and good shooting Sakodude!

Thanks again for a fun afternoon!

We quit when a gust of wing got distinctly colder!

Good you got him shooting out there.
I don't want to hear any excuses from him.
I'll second the great guy part.

I've met Tom once.  He's a very nice guy.  I'm glad you got to meet up, and had a good time.  And you're right.  You do meet the nicest (and best) folks on this forum.  I've met a number of them, and like everyone I have met.

Whew, just got back from visiting with Elk Creek in northern Colorado, I mean seriously, you can smell Wyoming from there!
Had a great time, meet another outstanding forum member who let me shoot his Browning Mountain rifle, super sweet btw, and a very fine old model single six.
Cant say how much I enjoyed meeting Andy and appreciate his trust allowing me to shoot his treasures.

I am just getting to know Sakodude in our current conversations regarding milsurps and a future transaction.

A very polite and generous individual. I look forward to getting to know him better.

I’d probably punch the Elk guy if I ever met him. He has too many guns I want.

Looks like you fellers had a good time! And that rifle looks like it's 'minute of elk and deer', too! Work up a good load for it for accuracy, and have some fun this coming hunting season!

It shows some promise, but this was just two yahoos talking more than shooting at a 25 yard target.  The top target there is a nice little group happened..... more to explore

The smoke and percussion never gets old. My 30-06 put em down running and kicking. My 50 Hawken sends em' on a run to fall stone dead.

Sako is gooood people! The jury is still out on Elk!! :)

Tom and I have hooked up several times while on my Wisconsin adventures, although not enough!! Seems I'm always in a time crunch to where I'm going, but I practically drive right past his house!!

Glad you got to meet him, Elk Creek!  It looks like you guys made great use of your time, and range time is never a bad thing.  Sakodude is a great guy and we’ve been lucky enough to shoot and enjoy each other’s company on several occasions over the years.

He even split a black powder purchase with me a good number of years back, and passed me one of his dad’s old .41 mag bullet moulds (and some black powder accessories) just last year.  To say that I owe him is an understatement!
Accuracy: because white space between bullet holes drives me insane.
