I've always enjoyed their mag. They are pro-gun and even give some great tips. In the most recent issue, they had a tidbit I had never thought off. One for the people with multi-floor dwellings.

They said to keep a spare house key on a short chain tied with a chemlight. When the LEO's show up, you can snap the light and toss it to them so they can open the door.

But they get major kudos for never wavering on self and home defense. I've never read anything anti-ownership in my time.
Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.

The wife and I used the "chem light on a key" thing when we lived in MI..the police liked the idea a lot...just be sure to let the dispatcher know when you call so the responding officers will know what to look for...

Interesting idea; I wish Clean's car keys had one of those lights this morning

I'd heard and read the key tip, at least attached to a large, very visible object. "I'm tossing out the house key attached to a pink-dressed "Hello Kitty" doll..."

The chem-light makes more sense though, especially in the dark when bad things tend to happen more.

Perhaps a fishing line too, if no one can find it, you can haul it back.
