That's how I feel about some democrats wanting to expand the supreme court and abolishing the electoral college.

And yes, I realize that the supreme court has not always consisted of 9 members.  However, I think we have those two particular institutions right, and should leave them alone.

Just my humble opinion.

The Democratic Socialists want to abolish the Electoral College for one, AND ONLY ONE, reason. It would guarantee that about 6 states would control who is elected President because of the massive population they have.

And they want to stack the Supreme Court with more judges, Liberal 'the Constitution is a living breathing thing' judges, that say ' we say it means' regardless of original intent or what it actually says.

Democrats are in a tizzy trying to force the U.S. into a socialist hellhole like every other socialist hellhole on this stinking third rock from the Sun.

The only consolation is this is very old political SOP. The Republicans will fight this tooth and nail. And the partisan fur can fly maybe in a different direction after some deadlock filibuster flabbergaster fubar fiddlesticks.

I don't even use the tag 'Democrats' anymore. That party died long ago along with JFK. Today, they are nothing more than communists who want one thing and one thing only - the destruction of this nation and the shredding of our Constitution and Bill of Rights.
They aren't Communists.................yet. They have to collect all the firearms in private hands first. Can't have the filthy proletariat angry AND armed, and push their collectivist agenda down the prole's throats.

The Democrat Party has been redefining itself and the language it uses, for decades. Their goal is simply to not be 'pinned,' by any attack on any one of the standard left-wing ideologies that they borrow from. They can do this very well, with mass media and the entertainment industry, and the lazier than ever thinking processes among about one half of the population. They only need half of the voters, plus one, so if they successfully demonize the other half, they don't even have to care what they like or don't like. Their goal is not to make everybody happy and safe and productive - it is to make the majority willing to accept less, and let the government dictate who the 'winners and losers' will be.

The important thing is to know that the methods they use are practically identical to the Communist Party of America tactics, from the 1930's through the 1950's, regardless of whatever they want to pretend that their 'actual' ideology is, on any given election cycle. Those methods didn't seem to be succeeding with mainstream America, then, because the methods were obviously anti-American, philosophically. But they were successful enough to enable them to make some progress in redefining the words and phrases that they wanted to use, to either de-sensitize us on some subjects, or over-sensitize us on other subjects.

The Republican Party lets the Democrats get away with attacking everything resembling a conservative ideology, while getting off scot-free, themselves, by virtue of not admitting to any specific party ideology. That is why I think they have a major opportunity, now, with so many Democrats coming out of the closet, on socialism. If they are smart, they can easily prove the case against socialism, and then compare every candidate's record and positions with it, and pin them as the same thing in a different 'wrapping.'

Don't the big population centers get most of their food, water, and electricity from more "rural" areas?  If push ever comes to shove, politically, I'd like to see the politicians try to convince a few big cities full of hungry people sitting in the dark on a hot summer night with toilets that won't flush how much better off they are in a socialist utopia!
