So close yet so far, missed small detail on build

Got excited the parts for my polymer80 Glock 26 build showed up. I had the lower milled and ready. I sat down turned on a YouTube video and started putting everything together, I was almost done when I realized neither the slide kit or the lower kit came with the recoil spring and guide rod assembly. Oh well, one will be here Monday or Tuesday. I guess I’ll survive. This means I’ll have to wait until next weekend to test fire.this was a fun project that really didn’t take much effort. I can say I now know everything about the internals of a Glock!
pics to follow when she’s complete.

Spend 3 days making a tiny 420 SST part with multiple features, heat-treat it, surface grind it to spec, then discover you missed milling a tiny radius in the bottom of a blind hole that's critical to the part working as advertised, according to a young engineer whose qualifications consist of his diploma and his pride.
Yes, I could have fixed it in 2-3 hours with a polishing stone. But that wasn't good enough.
Start over, while other jobs backlogged.
Been there, done that. And that hurts.
I'd love to do this for funsies once in a while. Doing it for a living to FDA specs takes a lot of the fun out of it.
I have more common sense than patience, occasionally.

No S/N required in my state but I cannot sell it or give it away, of course I don’t know how anyone would know. I just wanted to build one to get me started. I didn’t really save any money over buying a new gun but I did upgrade several parts over factory. The downside is I now have a gun I can never get rid of, I don’t think I would want too many like that.
not quite finished yet. This is what it looks like with slide 1. I’ll post more pics when completed.
