Cleaned my 1911s last night

Been so long since I cleaned them, I just about forgot the easiest way!  Still, there is  more ways to skin a cat, or clean a 1911, than one.  The guns weren't all that dirty...guess I need to shoot more.
Concealed carry is for protection, open carry is for attention.

Sometimes if you shoot the right ammo it does not get the gun too dirty.

I had been shooting some 45 colt and it was not too dirty and had to open a new box and after ten rnds I thought the revolver needed cleaning after 10 rnds.

I'd be happy if I could get away for a bit to dirty mine.

Better dirt and soot than rust. ;)

My biggest problem like early is getting out to them dirty!
