Range day

Shot my Smith 28-2, with 158 gr. bullets, recoil was there with the Magna grips but not offensive.  The gun shoots accurately.  I think I'll keep the original grips.

Second one I shot was Star BM9.  After a bit of work beforehand, it shot well and reliably.  As with every semi auto I own, I shoot to the left....my fault.  The gun shot hardball and Winchester hollow points.  Accuracy was OK off-hand, didn't bench either gun because it was familiarity shooting only.
Concealed carry is for protection, open carry is for attention.

Fun!  The shop I had my 6" 28 shipped to had taken in a 4" version they let me fondle when I picked mine up yesterday.  They make a VERY different impression on you for only being different by 2" barrel length.  The 6" of taper on the barrel compensates for the large frame and hides the overall size of the thing with a veneer of elegance.  No such disguise for your 4" -  that thing says "I'm a massive, angry pit bull, and I'm gonna eat you!"  Me likey!
