    About the best use for Democrats/Liberals would be their conversion to low grade fertilizer, and it WOULD be low grade fertilizer. If they started impeachment proceedings yesterday, they'd be unable to finish before the next election. Just a bunch of whiny little 3 y.o. spoiled brats pitching a hissy fit, and desperately in need of getting a solid butt whoopin' and a 'cry some more and I'll give you something to cry about' followup butt whoopin' just because they need it. When Democrat/Liberal politicians speak, all I see and hear this part of the oath, and nothing else;  " I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same...." All I see on the Democratic Party side is a bunch of filthy domestic enemies of the state.  Democrats, Communists, and Socialists suck at the same teat of hate, greed, and a lust for power over others. I suggest they read the Declaration of Independence, and turn away while the time to do so still exists.

    And I know the Babylon Bee is a satire site, but they report more real news than CNN (Communist News Network)  lately. :D

    Its going to get harder to sell the fake news explanation with the White House lawn covered with dirty laundry. A trail of enemies and burned bridges might be acceptable conduct for business in Manhattan real estate. It could be problematic in politics.

    Soooo. . .let me get this straight. . .

    Democrats have spent the last three years using their power as elected officials trying to fabricate (yes "fabricate", not "find") dirt on Donald Trump and his actions (Russia, Kavanaugh, etc...).

    And now that Donald Trump uses his power as an elected official in an attempt to find actual dirt on Joe Biden (and may be finding it), it's somehow a stoning offense?

    How is anyone not seeing this as just the latest chapter of The Democrat who Cried 'WOLF' ?

    How is anyone not seeing this as the Democrats pot not being at least as, if not more black than Trump's kettle?

    How is anyone not seeing that the Dems don't have any plans that are palatable to the country at large, and their only strategy at this point is to try to make themselves look better through trying to make their opposition look bad?

    We don't know the political affiliation of the whistle blower.

    The American people may be very much tired of the old song. And understandably so.

    I believe the results of the past investigation to be a Trump victory, if not exoneration. I further believe the results of this investigation may turn out inconclusive for a long time.

    The thing that's extraordinary in my perception, is the lack of continuity of staff within the administration, the abrasive rhetoric, and what appears to be wreckless abandon in DT's management style. A trail of enemies is bad thing for a politician to have. Given the dirty nature of the vocation.

    As much as I may detest Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi and their contemporaries. Having a glass house in a hurricane certainly invites vulnerability.

    We know what the article is, the story behind it is very real.  Adam Schiff has been saying he has proof Trump is guilty of everything.  He should be told by the AG to hand it over withing say 48 hours or be charged with any number of charges

    To me, this is Witch Hunt #2. If the current one doesn't work out for the congressional scum-suckers, there will #3 in the near future. Funny how the DNI changed the rules so that third party hearsay was admissible to use as Whistleblower evidence is pretty telling.

    I am confused.

    Eisenhower got old.

    Kennedy got shot.

    Johnson had made all the money he needed off a war while decrying our need to be there.

    Nixon signed my Eagle Scout warrant. He got impeached which didn't seem to mean anything, except he gave up the office without a fight.

    Ford granted him something, and proceeded to fall down any set of stairs he encountered. He wasn't re-elected.

    Carter got elected because, I guess, sweaters and cocaine were all the rage. A swimming rabbit didn't sink his boat.....just mostly, his chances at re-election. Oh...let's not forget his firm stance against the OPEC oil embargo. Sweaters....turn down your t'stats....Oh.....and a few dozen hostages in Iran, which we've never really gotten over if current events might prove.

    Reagan got elected because Hollywood cowboys were "more us", and trickle-down economics seemed much more friendly than an IRS audit.

    Bush I said "Read my lips"......that pretty much got him dis-elected.

    Clinton had a fondness for Monica, and he got impeached, but nothing came of it...except having to live with with Hillary for the next few years so she could run for Prez.

    Bush II.....I have no idea how this happened. Twice.

    Obama....I have a good idea how this happened, but forgive me for saying I couldn't believe it happened twice.

    Trump......the only thing saving him from his own party , by a thin margin, is Pelosi, AOC, and Bernie. I guess that's a good thing. But he's as stupidly insular politically as a brick.

    I am confused. The choices always seem to be the lesser of two evils.

    What linefinder said - although I do think Trump is the best thing to happen to the GOP post-Reagan. Reagan was elected because Carter was cluelessly inept. He meant well, and I think he was probably one of the very few mostly honest politicians, but the Iran situation was the nail in the coffin of his presidency.

    What's even funnier is that effort was wasted trying to elicit dirt on fumbling stumbling Joe. If that guy can't be defeated with honest policy, there really is an elephant in the room.

    FWIW, I don't think that Nixon was impeached.  He resigned before it got to that point.  It wasn't the original crime that got him, but the cover up.  He also had a hostile press.
