  Installing a sight into a dovetail is easy.  Give it a whirl, you’ll learn a new skill.

  Usually those dovetail sights are tapered and have to be drifted in in one direction and drifted out in the opposite.  If you're wondering, get out your calipers and measure your sight and/or the dovetail.  If you don't have a caliper, well, now you have a reason to get one.

  In general, you clamp the slide, barrel or receiver with the muzzle end facing away from you.  The entry/exit to the dovetail is to your right.  So you tap on the left to drift the old sight out and tap in from the right to drift the new one in.  If you need to **** anything to make it tighter you always **** the cheaper part, meaning the bottom of the new sight.

  Maybe.  If you ever saw the actual list of words that the auto censor looks for you'd be highly amused.  It's HUGE and redundant as all hell.  Spent hours trying to clean it up and barely put a dent on it.  More like gave up after we freed the essentials like bitch and ass.

  Thanks to the miracle of the interwebs, I was able to switch out the sights rather easily.
  
  The G26 has new front/rear sights and the G42 has a new front sight,  
  
  Tools purchased: $5 front sight tool off Amazon.
