A micro project...

This model had optional pipe jaws - this particular one didn't. Found some on eBay that would work given a bit of work with a grinder on them:

Not a fancy "restoration", just new main and added pipe jaws, and a quick respray with a can of ODG I had laying about. The oil can behind it is "the real deal", WW II surplus, got it about the same time as this vise from the same person about 40 years ago. The 4" vise ("Shop King") probably dates from the late 50s or early 60s.
I last worked on it in the mid to late 80s.

Those are always handy in any shop . With the way I drop things I need one in every room .
