Didn't intend to buy another 1.....

Walked in to the lgs this morning since the beauty shop next door was closed. The owner pulled out a plastic Ruger box. Inside was a 50th anniversary Single Six Convertible w/mag cylinder, 4 5/8 barrel . It has adjustable sights. $315 otd with the ammo.
I thought it was just too good a deal to pass up. I've got an old model Super Single Six so now each son will get 1 each someday.

I've been waiting to see if I could find a Security Six or possibly a 1911. But, I just couldn't turn this 1 down

No more felt bags???
I’ve owned 3 of those with the longer barrel and I’ve always wanted a 4.6” barreled one. Don’t know why I have not made that happen. My last one, a beautiful customized 6.5” stainless with NICE stag grips belongs to my son now.
The store owner called Ruger about having it fitted for another gun and was quoted a price of $200 so he hasn't done anything with it.
Hope to shoot it tomorrow.
Thanks for the comments!
I bought one for my dad in 2003, and he just gave it back to me last month. There wasn't any felt bags with this one. The WMR cylinder was wrapped in bubble wrap.
And now that I think about it the box doesn't say 50th anniversary. It just has a label on the top with the dates 1953-2003.
But it doesn't matter. The anniversary part didn't matter to me at all. The price, barrel length, and just having a 2nd Single Six to give to each of my sons one day is what appealed to me.
I'm glad you posted that. You confirmed my suspicion.
I am pretty sure I see magnum on that cylander
