  Yes...I carry a Blow Out kit in my truck...specifically geared for treating bullet/penetrating injuries.
  We also carry a medium sized jump kit for treating more generalized trauma...
  Both the wife and I are former medics...

  I was in Taft when we had a ND. Luckily, more than a few of us had blow out kits but the range itself was painfully unprepared. We had the good fortune of having a registered nurse there also.

  When the paramedics finally arrived (5-10 minutes later) all they did was examine the applied dressings and then just loaded him aboard the ambulance.
  

  Today I carry a fairly comprehensive kit suitable for many of the things that can happen. New shooters often look at me like I'm some kind of fatalistic oddball. I tell them to go online and read about the many negligent discharges and "accidents" that have happened in the past. It doesn't take long before those new shooters begin showing up with basic blowout kits or First Aid kits themselves. I remind them to seek out proper training in First Aid to use the kits and try to get CPR certified. Many of them do and it makes us all safer.

  When I hunt, I usually wear a back pack with a first aid kit and supplies.  Also, I learned the hard way that direct pressure can stop arterial bleeding, and came to the conclusion that a kotex pad can be used for more than its intended use.

  I have a kit in my emergency bag in the car.  Not extensive or capable of treating gun shots really but then neither am I..more then a basic I first aid kit but not going to perform major surgery.  One thing I put in for splatter is tweezers.  Had a guy get a chunk of lead embedded in his lip and until someone found some, nothing could really be done.  This was during a major match so I got on the radio to the match director and someone a couple bays over had some in her kit.  Guy bleed like a stuck pig when it was pulled out.  It was his wife shooting at the time.

  I keep a trauma kit.  I was also fortunate enough to take a 3 day course with an 18 delta medic.  Learned how to use what I carry in the kit.  Staying alive is more than just shooting.  I figure learning what to do after the shooting stops is just as important.
