I remember him best as "Pappy Boyington"  from "Baa Baa Black Sheep/ Black Sheep Squadron"
Seven Habits of Highly Effective Pirates, Rule #37: There is no “overkill”. There is only “open fire” and “I need to reload”.

I remember rushing through my paper route to get home in time to watch Wild, Wild West.

    Great actor.
    That's all I got.

RIP Pappy!! Wild Wild West was one of my favorite TV shows. In the era when 007 movies were the in movies, he brought the same format to a western!! BTW the movie SUCKED!!

I was a fan of him since Hawaiian Eye!!

Well this is weird. I am on a 12hr, 4 on, 4 off shift at work. Saturday was my last day. There are no other lines running in my building on Saturdays. My line is so loud you can't hear anything. I out of sheer bordom was singing/ humming stuff that came into my head. One of which (I swear) was the theme to Baa Baa Black Sheep.......

    RIp Mr. Conrad.

Also recently passed are Kirk Douglas (103 yrs old) and Orson Bean.  I guess the old "bad things come in 3s" adage is proving true.
