I stumbled across this awhile back.  Mark Knopfler just talking about guitars with short demos.  Just amazing.

That's fine, but that's not the Josh Turner I was referring to. You'll like the other one too, I'm betting.

I'd like it better without the banjo...

If you didn't like what you listened to, he's got a ton of other stuff on YT. A couple of
my favorites are Sixteen Tons and Suite:Judy Blue Eyes.

I've been watching his tour dates for a couple years now and he seems to focus on the east coast and Europe. But if he ever lands within 500 miles of Colorado Springs I'll scratch out every dime and minute possible and get there.

I didn't say I didn't like it.  I just thought that covering an ABBA song would have been much better without the banjo.  I have seen several of his videos before.  Somehow I can't picture him playing at Red Rocks...

Yeah, I don't see him going to  Red Rocks either. OTOH,  I gave up on Red Rocks myself after getting rained/hailed out of the last 2 shows I paid over $250 each to see....one being one of the last Steely Dan concerts before the demise of half the team. While Red Rocks is nice when it's nice......you couldn't bribe me back there again with free tickets  and free beer. Too unpredictable, even in forecasted "nice" weather. And it's a hard mile walk back to your car while even it's getting hammered by golf-ball sized hail.

OTOH, the Paramount in Denver would be a great venue for him, as would Pike's Peak Center in Colorado Springs.

But I'm thinking he doesn't much like west of the Mississippi.
