New pistol grip installed.  I like it.

Looks good, probably far more ergonomic than the original. Who supplies it?

@North Forest, the grip is a US Palm AK grip, I ordered it from AKOptions,LLC

For me if standing in front of the safe and I had to grab a rifle to walk in the woods with right now, it would be the 71 Winchester in 348 win hands down.

Trying to talk myself out of a STI 2011 right now. $2K in ammo is probably a lot more productive.

That seems to be the prevailing situation, but don't worry. It remains consistently unchanged.

I stumbled upon a good deal on a S&W 442-1 and it followed me home.

Most recently I picked up a Pietta 1851 Yank snub nose revolver.

Are you keeping it as a black powder gun or converting it?  I would be curious to hear how that process goes if you choose that route.

I had no intention on the swap.

I think I made a decent deal on it. Paid the listed price for the firearm but got a holster two cylinder pouches two spare cylinders a loading stand an some round ball and I can not tell it has ever been shot.

That sounds like a good score to me!  Spare cylinders are usually rather expensive.
