Small range report SR9C

With the current ammo shortage, I wasn't able to run much through it. BUT.....it shows great promise. Only ran about 30 FMJ and some random JHP so I would have an idea of what it would do. Keep in mind eyes suck and I am not used to this pistol. Both 7 yards offhand.

First two mags. 115gr Remington Hardball

A mag (10rounds) of Hornady 135gr Flexlock with a called flyer. Easily covered with my closed fist.

Trigger is very nice for a $329 pistol. Guessing about 5 or 6 pounds with very minor creep. No failures of any kind.

Good ride for a sub compact. Especially the no stoppages part.

Good enough.  I tend to shoot such pistols left, as well.  Pretty sure it's me on the trigger, but I have drifted sights over to compensate for my errors.  I think I might be getting better on the trigger but ammo costs have prevented me from testing this.
Concealed carry is for protection, open carry is for attention.

Great that you got to shoot. All ranges are closed.

Wife was mad I went to the indoor range. Stayed about an hour.

Tugar where are you located?  Down here all ranges are closed, the ones with gun shops attached the gun store is open, but you can't shoot.

Glad you like your new Ruger

Idaho. The weird thing is the outdoor ranges are mostly closed. I could just drive out of town, but didn't. Not by my lonesome if that can be avoided.

Not safe in the boondocks alone?  I miss being able to do that in Texas

More a kneejerk reaction to the Miami FBI shootout. I used to live down there. My buddies and I used to go to 'the pit" where platt and his buddy murdered other gun owners to steal their guns.

Plus a friend of mine and I were in Suniland (South Miami) close enough to hear the final shootout when it happened in 1986

So I just prefer not to go alone if it can be avoided.

I live in Miramar right between Ft Lauderdale and Miami so I understand.
So many areas just are not nice anymore
