My only gripe about those stainless vaqueros are the sights. Not the fixed sights they are fine just the shine. Years back I had one in 44-40 it went down the road (another story). It was stainless and in bright light the sights were tough to see. I ended up borrowing a serration cutting file and serrating the back of the front sight and sand blasting the rear sight notch to the rear of the groove. That made it much better.

Son that's somebody with nothing to do with his time but keep me in trouble with mom.
I will bring it out again soon and reevaluate how we will get along together. I'll be very thorough this time.
