name some good modern books and videos for new dove hunters

I want to:

-take wingshooting lessons
-take a beginner hunter education/hunter safety course
-learn about what equipment/clothing I need and how to select it
-learn how to select a retriever pup and train it myself to a finished gun dog 


Do state fish/game agencies have good information for newbies to hunting?

    Oh, a little side note about one of my threads that got shut down. No bearing on this thread. I think most people would understand "woman navy personnel" to mean "person with ovaries who rose her right hand to swear into the American navy".  Forgive me if I sound a tad old-fashioned in my speaking. I ain't hip to soccer-mom speak or new-wave (no pun intended) navy talk.  :p
