An update on whats happening over here with regards to firearms...........

in Second Amendment/Politics #1
According to the latest amendment to our firearms laws, every firearm part must have a unique serial number ..............not just the action/barrel but every part including screws, sling swivels, stocks, springs, extractors etc etc etc.......


And the section 74 referred to above
74 Regulations

(1)

The Governor-General may, from time to time, by Order in Council, make regulations for all or any of the following purposes:

(l)

making provision for the marking of firearms, magazines, and parts with identifying marks before the issue of a licence or permit:

A completely unworkable piece of legislation.....how the hell do you mark a scope ring screw or a small spring ???

    I'd imagine the citizenry have the power to march those tyrants from their homes by gunpoint and put one behind their ear.

    'They' are still working out the details.
    The local Arms Officer is completely bereft of any details of how this new piece of legislation will be applied..........

    I'd have the whole government body that created that subjected to mandatory drug testing immediately, and weekly thereafter. That mess is unworkable. How ya gonna put a serial number on a tiny coil spring? Or a detent ball?

    The  same way that Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein, Chuck Schumer, and all the other Socialist road trash here in the U.S. keep getting elected and reelected to office. Make the same tired old promises, and the ignorant electorate keep voting them back into office. It's getting to the point in most older countries (200+ years old) where 'the born tired and ain't got rested yet' are about to reach a majority and when they do reach the majority then socialism and communism will replace the existing government. And the only thing that can hope to stop that outcome is armed revolution.

    Armed revolution? Doubt that would ever happen in our lifetime. People like us will keep bitching and those like them will gloat over the free stuff they got. Trinkets compared to their democratic leaders

    The purpose it serves is to make it a lot harder to keep something within the letter of the law.  If you can make a requirement that is almost impossible to meet then you can make a whole lot of things suddenly illegal to posses.
