Anniversary gift for my girl...

She’s been wanting a small (smaller than her 43) gun for a while and she is very proficient with her Kimber 1911.  Yeah I know, it’s only a .380. But if she’ll carry more often because she’s comfortable with the size and it’s “cute” then so be it.  I’ll make sure she’s deadly with it and it’s loaded with good stuff.  BTW she loves the movie 300! 😁

For the intended use. Its sterling reputation for reliability maybe makes up for a small round. Plus it looks cool!

Looks kind of kool/neat.  As for being a .380, I will never volunteer to stand down range and catch one

As long as she carries it...that's what counts....

    Yep.

My wife carries a BodyGuard .380. It's a lot easier than carrying me carrying a 686.

I like small guns.  I sometimes carry a .32 PPK.  Fact is, as was shown to me very recently, a .32 hard ball will in a lot of cases, out-penetrate a .380 HP.

I had a .380 Bodyguard, but couldn't pull the trigger easily because the pull was so long  it was so long my trigger finger would butt up against my palm.
Concealed carry is for protection, open carry is for attention.

I have had several discussions about 380 and it comes down to will she practice with it carry it. Right now that is a 380, maybe someday we will move to a 9 but not today. That looks like a nice one.

She practices with her .45 1911 and her Glock 43 9mm.  And she’s proficient with both.  Not a matter of ability.  Just a “want” for a smaller, easier to conceal comfortably gun for when she wears more “taylored” clothing.

For now it will be loaded with Rem 105gr Golden Sabers.  Only 10 grains under a standard 9mm load so not too bad.

I like it. And I carry a 380. Of course it doesn't hurt that it holds 15+1 and I have an extra mag. I'd rather have more of a smaller caliber than a few of a larger. Running out before the bad guy is bad news. (I assume)

I don’t know. I have a pretty annoying scream. High pitched. Kinda raspy like. Nails on a chalkboard. Ya know?

OK. . .Nice enough Colt Mustang clone, but Spartan military heraldry on a .380?

I'm imagining all of Gerard Butler's lines from the movie 300 being delivered by Alvin of The Chipmunks.

Thanks guys!  Gun is super nice as all SIGs are.  She’s really happy with her new gun!  Hope to get her to the range this weekend but I think it’ll be mobbed.

If you are implying that my wife is any less of a warrior than a big guy with a full sized gun I cordially invite you to say that to her Face to face if you ever have the pleasure of meeting her.  But before you do that, pour some BBQ sauce down your pants.  It’ll make your balls taste better when she feeds them to you.

Yep.  Others here have met her and she is “Zee Trained”. But she comes with nasty fighting genetics straight from the factory.

When Bream met my wife for the first time in FL he made a comment about her Yankees hat in “the South”.  Shortly after that he slowly backed away careful not to turn her back on her... 🤣

I think she wears that hat as bait...

Seemed an odd place for that particular decor, is all.
