    When the whole BLM mess started many people said GF or anyone else killed by police has nothing to do with it.  Terry Cruz has been chastised by the black community for saying the movement is beginning to look like a movement toward black supremacy.  
    I have never really thought about race, have friends of all races, but lately a few have made comments that I am unsure if I could really rely on them

    It's getting so that anything just painted white is called racist. This is more of a Communist/Marxist plot than anything else, in my view.

    So a couple of days ago I stopped for gas on my way into town.  This REALLY nice pick-up truck pulls into the pump in front of mine and I was admiring the truck because it was nice!!!  

    Then my gaze wondered to the owner, this rather large black guy, and he was actually scowling at me for just looking at his truck!!!  I just looked at him with as much of an expressionless face as I could and he would not back down.  I just knew he was just waiting for ANYTHING to happen that would set him off.

    I just shrugged finished pumping my gas and got in my car and left.  That was just weird, it has never happened to me before.  BUT I REFUSE to let anyone else make me into something I am not.  Maybe he was just constipated and not having a good day...

    I'm NOT saying this is the new normal by any length of the imagination, but again this was just WEIRD and of suspect timing.

    On the other hand of the equation my wife was showing me some videos by Danzel Washington and Candance Owen Speaking about the. Urgent state of affairs, and I think for the first time we have a chance for some real dialogue in this country.  I can say I’m colorblind with absolutely certainty.  I wish I could say the same of some of the minority leaders out there and if the country as a whole.

    When I went to the Grand Canyon it was over 30 years ago. The crowd was global. No bias of any kind.

    I've been accused of being racist twice in the last couple years. Both times at the grocery store. I was just walking/shopping in silence. I made no reply. The accusation didn't come from a race. It came from individuals looking for a scapegoat to receive their frustrations. Such is city life. Some of the aggressive threats I've recieved as a pedestrian by motorists have been race related I'm sure. Again individuals. Crowded city, people have issues.

    We decide our barriers, and live on. For me, my stand starts where physical aggression begins. I don't worry about the rest.

    Completely agree. This is getting so insane that it would not surprise me in the least when the progressive Marxist communist left will be calling for libraries to be burned to the ground because books have white paper and all pets with "white" owners to be euthanized. Years back, when reading Orwell's "1984" and Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451" I recall thinking to myself, "Without a doubt, this WILL happen in my lifetime." For me, it was plain as day to see the path and overall goal of Marxist leftist progressivism. It is just inconceivable how anyone can obediently and willfully buy into this crap. I don't want to sound like self righteous snob or ne'er-do-well, but when the average sheep discards books and willfully sits in front of the idiot-box for hours at a time and lets some parroting marionette do their thinking for them, it's not too hard to realize how the masses are being indoctrinated like sheep. Couple this with the conveyor belt of academia's "Common Core Curriculum" of 2+2=5 and America shaming, and we see how this insanity is being accomplished.

    I can relate with this completely. I have a good long term customer who is black and has always been great, never an issue but the last few interactions with him over the last month have been very antagonistic. I also just kept my cool, not wanting to instigate a problem but I won’t work on his boat again until he becomes a little easier to deal with. Same guy blew up on a friend of mine about the whole BLM stuff. Its just eating him up, you can see it.

    Well whatever happens we can not let incidents like this predispose us to judgement of people because of race.  PERIOD!!!   This is a crazy time and everyone is on edge.  We must all show restraint and give everyone the benefit of the doubt while staying VERY vigilant.  Quite the balancing act.

    That video is exactly the type of hate that I am talking about. Its gotten to a very dangerous place. The media is at fault, the Left using the BLM movement as their pawns to further their political agenda are at fault as well. Its a very bad situation.

    I told another member in a pm what happened with my customer but I will bring it out here. I have worked on this mans boats and his families boats for 15 years without a problem. Never even close to a problem. Now after all the BLM protests he is requesting a black mechanic. I am white. He most recently did this after a 45 minute drive (each way) to his marina when he knew I was the one coming. I am the ONLY mobile marine mechanic we have and have been for as long as I have known this man. Its just gotten crazy whats going on.

    Some group called NFAC marched on stones Mtn. Last weekend.  150 or do blacks all dressed in black and all tactical and all carrying AR type weapons.  Claimed they were a militia and were talking race war.  They confronted a motorist threatening him and telling him they want their reparattions.  Cops just watched.  This may be a deadly summer.

    Good luck with that!! Maybe next time you could ask him if he knows any marine service company that has one.

    Most likely because now they're calling for all "people of color" to patronize only black businesses and black business owners. I cant imagine the repercussions if whites said that. I honestly hope someone kicks civil war number deuce off soon since it's coming anyway. Just get it over and done with so the adults can go back to normal living.
