Seriously, get a tire plug kit. You can plug 10 holes with one kit. If you do any kind of off road, you know what a pain in the butt a tire change can be on a rainy muddy incline and uneven soft surface. It downright dangerous. A plug kit will have you on your way in about 10 minutes despite the bad conditions and it's a lot safer.
Like I said before, bad weather, forest fires or just the wrong side of town, you'll want to just plug it and go. Fix it professionally later at your convenience. Don't use some cheapy air compressor that takes 20 minutes to air up a tire either.
That is a great idea, I have seen that brand before. You have any experience with an air compressor except the cheapy ones?
I have an older model All-Top. Paid just under a hundred for it several years ago and it's still running great. When my BIL asked what kind of portable compressor to get I recommended it but today they run around $140 so he ended up getting a Kensun for $50 bucks off Amazon. In all honesty, it seems to work great and inflates almost as fast as my All-Top.
That Harbor Freight one looks reasonable also, just don't settle for one of those $19.95 jobs that takes forever to inflate and breaks down after 4 or 5 uses. That's my position.

Son # 2 is off to college with an extended cab 4X4 F150, we got it just before he left so I did not get it loaded with the stuff you should have in a truck, no tonneau cover or topper, yet. Anything besides this list that you think would be good kit?
1. Jumper Cables 2. Tow strap 3. Flashlight 4. Gloves and hat(winter) 5. Hand warmers 6. Water 7. Knife 8. Compass 9. Matches/Lighter/firestarting material 10. Some food of some variety 11. Air Compressor 12. Basic tool kit 13. Tarp 14. Braided rope 15. Insulated Boots 16. Water filtration device(Lifestraw) 17. Back-up phone battery power 18. $200 cash? $300? 19. Emergency blanket 20. Change of clothes?
He is too paranoid about having a firearm and ammo in his truck, does not want to get kicked out of school for violating policy, it would have been a stainless 10-22 or a Ruger MK of some variety if I had my way. I keep an Otter Sled with tire chains, a 1 gallon ice cream pail for the occasional puking kid, and some wet wipes and paper towel for messes or when nature calls, in my truck.
Did I see a shovel in your list?? One of those extendable ones?? He might need one to move some snow.
Okay, just fixed the tire, fended off the zombie hoards, drank some water, had some emergency food rations, charged the phone, ... now WT #%^# happened to my keys???
Then I guess you better get on down to Harbor Freight and get you one. Don't worry, it comes with a plug for your 12V power outlet so you don't have to use a battery.

A compressor is planned for the Jeep. Unfortunately, they're about 10x the cost! Already have the wiring, relay, and switch installed for it.

If interested, look up the YouTube page Project Farm. No relation to me in any way. He did a test of air compressors like those and does tests on all kinds of different products. He also does experiments, such as running an engine on charcoal lighter fluid and putting a gas motor conversion, plus nitrous on a bicycle.. Pretty entertaining and fairly informative.
Well, I got to use that little air compressor a little sooner than I expected. Had to top off a tire on my son's GMC Acadia tonight. I don't know about the claims that it will fill a car tire in two minutes but it took that tire from 21 psi to 35 psi in about 2-3 minutes. That was running off a drill battery and it worked as advertised. Set the desired pressure and it started bypassing when it hit that pressure. So far, so good.
