.44 Mag or .444 Marlin?

    I’d go .44 Mag.  No real reason other than... I like the 44 mag.

    I already have a Marlin .44 mag and a single shot I built on a NEF 12 gauge frame, and Ruger single actions to go with. In .45-70 I gots a Ruger #1, two Sharps replicas in rifle and carbine length, a rolling block, and a Marlin lever gun.
    I'd go for the .444 just to have something different to punish my shoulder with from time to time. :D
