  I've got 2  nephews dying to go for squirrels so next time it will be the old 410 and lots of ammo.
  
  Louis the gun is ready to be claimed by my son.

  I, allegedly, haven't shot a busy-tail in years. Certainly not with a shotgun. But one apple, one cherry, and one-half of a plum tree has died in my back yard over the past 3 years due to their winter time gnawing habits. Retribution has been fast, hard, non-relenting and constant.
  
  I'm still losing. I love squirrels as game critters. I hate them as neighbors.

  Are these the first you’ve took this year? I killed 8 Saturday and 6 of them had warbles. I know they don’t effect the ability to eat the squirrels ,&but when you see those maggots squirrel just doesn’t sound so good. The 410 is my preferred weapon of choice this time of year . With all the leaf cover I have more opportunities than with the .22

  At times I think so.
  I used to hunt a lot of rabbits and remember people speaking of them. Haven't seen one yet but I'm good with that
