Yours is, no doubt, in far better condition than this one - and is probably a genuine S&W as well. This one is not, its a "U.S. Revolver" S&W clone that somebody put real S&W grips onto. U.S. Revolver was Iver Johnson's economy (!!) line...
I have 2 S&W top breaks and one is almost pristine. The second one is... "not"...
Took a little tinkering but I got the "not" one shooting just fine with a little judicious Gunsmithing. It's a thing with me, I can't stand knowing there is a broken gun anywhere near me and not do something about it. My own personal OCD trait?
By any chance did you check on the value of those grips^^^
Originals in good condition do bring a premium. AND there are repro Iver Johnson grips out there in case you decide to make a few shekels on eBay selling those.
Nothing says "Good Morning!" like an F-16 doing low altitude high-G turns over your house. The Thunderbirds are in town for an airshow this weekend, this morning they were out doing some practice runs.

Saw them at the Luke AFB air show a couple of years ago. Impressive does not even begin to describe them. The local boys in the F-35s and F-16s were are slouches either
In addition to the Thunderbirds they are scheduled to have demonstration flights by an F-22, an F-35, an F-16, a C-17 and an A-10. Gonna be a fun (and loud) weekend. Going to start Saturday off at the gun range for a bowling pin shoot before catching the air show at my brother's place about a mile from the airport.

Just got stung by something - I think it was a wasp. Been a kazillion years since I've been stung.
We have a tree with a honey bee hive in it on the corner of our property. I was planting daffodil bulbs beside it last week. The ground is so hard I was pounding in the bulb planter with a 3# hammer. Had a couple bees in my hair but none got a stinger in me....
Planted 112 bulbs total (+ 35 crocuses)..... It was a lot of work. Sonsabitches better all bloom in the spring.

Very cool! Just don't tell Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. They might get triggered again.
FINALLY, a real, live performance opportunity! Granted, it will be outside in a park, but they have a nice stage. Practicing something I've never performed, just messed around with for years - a "goblet" dance. Dance on top of 3 inverted glass goblets - a Turkish thing. Little, itty-bitty gals can use heavy wine glasses, but I'm having to use Sundae goblets!

Actually I think it will be Obama +P Don;t forget, the VP won't be a accomplish nothing empty shirt, but a rabid female that cares nothing about the Constitution and wants to be elected herself in 4 years

5 inches or so of snow yesterday. After around seventy days with no natural moisture I don’t care if it is frozen. Hopefully the end of wildfire season.

She demonstrated this time and time again in California. I was there.

Sooooo. . .seeing as it looks like we're going to be returning to the Obama Administration shortly, I have to ask. . .
How has the original prize brick of .22LR been stored?
Rumor has it that it's in a.30 cal.ammo can with dessicant dumped in to fill the empty space, and sealed with Liquid Nail caulk. Kind of like Schrodinger's cat thing.
