Feeling better

Watching Blaze TV and drinking scotch. Looks like FL is going to be swept red, a county in VA that was 10 for Hillary in 2016 is Trump by 13 points with all precincts reporting. All couple hours ago, the PA Dem Lt Gov was saying that there is a path for Biden without PA..

You are not the only one.  As a foreigner, I cannot vote in your election, but, as We say here, when the USA sneezes, South América must take a cold medicine

Don't want to jynx it, but I don't know that I'd feel so bad about the presidency if we get the house and senate. After all the repubs seem to be better at defense than offense from past experiences.

Trump has basically won it - of course the dems are stalling and holding up the count, etc, etc - but from what I'm seeing, its a done deal except the riots and infighting.

Pretty much no change from when I went to bed at 10:00 to when I got up at 05:00 (West coast).

Finding I'm feeling a fair amount of disgust brewed over the last couple decades. . .

I think I said elsewhere that the primary process for both parties has NOT given us the cream rising to the top, but rather the turds that won't flush.

For the Republicans, we got a reality TV star whose personality is his own worst enemy versus somebody like Cruz who can actually be articulate about government process and the Constitution.

For the Democrats we got a senile swamp creature of the last failed administration that elevated the reality TV star.

That this election is close is troubling.  That these are the choices we're making is even more so. If this is "getting the government we deserve", maybe it's time to weep and drink heavily.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Trump is the best thing that has happened to the GOP in decades - he just won't play their game. I sure as Hell don't want Cruz (or Pence), a guaranteed GOP loss!

I agree. However, I will say that Cruz shines best as a senator - not as a presidential candidate. As for Trump, he doesn't play the establishment rules. I could give two sheets on his celebrity past or whether or not he says mean things. His record on getting things done and his appointments speaks volumes.

You guys need to wake up and smell the coffee.  From where I'm watching, it looks like a Biden presidency.  I think I threw up in my mouth a bit after typing that.

I hope it changes, but it's not looking good.

It is a sad day for this country.

I could care less about Trumps personality or his "reality star" status. His record on getting things done spoke volumes. I didn't vote for Trump because I wanted a friend or a meek yes man, I voted for him because of his stellar record and not giving in to the establishment. In closing, it now looks like we'll have Biden as president ... that is until the anti-American left turns on him thus putting anchor baby Harris as president, ...which was the democratic plan all along.

Was it the democratic plan, or the Bejing plan?  Any way you look at it, China is the big winner of this year's election.

Cammala (Spelling?) as president and the dems have the house. How strong will
Mitch be? We will have to wait and see I guess but it won't be good.

Well, that's great for those of us with enough brain cells to think big picture and long game, but consider the following:

What does it say about the quality of your game when you're managing to lose. . .to. . .JOE BIDEN???  That should be on par with losing a military engagement to the French.

LOL!!! 68 million voters turning out to vote for Trump is hardly comparable to your Napoleonic French ancestry.

Although it's likely the Rs will hold the senate, it's not a done deal.  There are still races yet to be called, and one (Georgia) will go to a run off.  The second Georgia senate seat may also go to a runoff.  I hope not.

For some reason, NC can't get their act together and count their remaining votes, so they have not called the presidential or senate race there.

Alaska has both Trump and the incumbent republican senator leading by a 2 to 1 margin with nearly 60% of the vote in, but has yet to call it.

Sorry but the democratic people’s party has no interest in seeing  Joe as president. Harris will be crowned within a year. Joe will be senile, stroked out or gone. This is a straight up coup, a “legitimized” coup to take over the country not from Trump but US!

As I see it. Either way the dems are going to get what they want. If Harris win, yes Harris, they get 4 years to break this country from the top down. If our President wins they mobilize the “useful idiots” to attempt to destroy the country from the bottom up... parasites, scum, faithless, Godless destroyers of all that’s good.....

This was Trump's election to lose and he's done a fine job.  His mouth is his downfall.  Sadly, we will pay for his egomania.  At least we got three "conservative" justices.

Trump is a flawed man, but he was the right man for the job, at this late date in our downward spiral into the 1984 scenario. That is evidenced by leftists coming out of the shadows with their end game final assault. If the supreme court won't disqualify the mail-in scams, our children and grandchildren will never know the freedom and prosperity that we were able to enjoy.

The only way our children and grandchildren will never know freedom is if we sit back and do nothing. Sadly, most conservative-minded people have lost the will to do what our Founders did. God forbid we lose our TV shows and sports, our BBQ Sundays, our smartphones, and our modern conveniences. Those things are far more important than our Constitution. Our Founders are looking down and at us and saying: "What a bunch of ****ing pus....sies.

ETA: You're spot on with the Orwell reference. I also wonder just how long it will take to see the "Firemen" from 451 burn down our libraries in their quest to erase this Nation's history. Heck, we're already seeing it being played out in cyber version with Marxist social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. It is beyond me how anyone in their right mind can continue to subscribe membership to those Marxist controlled platforms.

Our founders put up with worse, before choosing to be branded as traitors by going to guns. The legal system is definitely a less painful option, if there is still a chance of winning.

Time will tell, if our historical enemies don't decide to take a more direct approach while we are in a constitutional crisis.

    Agreed.
"Going to guns" should be the ABSOLUTE last option
