Follow your dog
We had 2 long walks on a beautiful, crisp Veterans Day in NE South Dakota. Our early snow mashed down all the good public grass and drove the birds into cattails and trees. With a week of 70’s the grass hunting has returned and my shooting slump appears to be ending! Glen has been marvelous in his retrieves this fall. He’s learning how to hunt with the wind much better. When you hunt alone, part of your walk is always with the wind. 
I’ve included some other pics from the hunts this fall. And 1 of him getting loved up by his sister!
