New Slashy, Stabby, Choppy Kitchen Stuff
My boys had a new kitchen knife set made for me for Christmas. It just arrived from the UK where the knife smith forged all my new goodies. They’re all Damascus steel which is becoming my favorite.
I think the knife smith did a great job

Distance is not an issue, but the wind can make it interesting!

I found knife smith is on Etse. My buddy purchased some knives made by him and they're very high quality and sharp as a razor. He gave me a UK email address, though I think he's out of Pakistan. All knives are hand fordged. He has a ton of different knives and knife sets on line at very resemble prices. I didn't like his knife sets on Etse as most seemed to be all chef knives of different sizes. I took pictures of the knives and the cleaver I wanted and asked if he could do them. Yes was always his answer. The most expensive item was the cleaver, it ran $100. Most of the knives were $50 or $70. I couldn't touch any of those in the US for less than $400 per knife. That's why my four boys went in to get them for me for X-mas. If you or anyone wants his email address let me know.

Gun control laws make about as much sense as taking ex-lax to cure a cough.
it would be interesting to hear back on their performance and longevity.
