    I've never been a fan of most big block anything. Yes they make more raw power, but I would much rather have the 289 version. 

    Reminds me of my buddy's 68 Camaro. I had a very high hp air-cooled Beetle. He'd drop me hard on the straights and as soon as he had to take a corner, I was past him.

    Yes it is a replica. But at least one within reach and could be done. I know some poo poo the idea. If the choice is between driving one that is a replica or never driving anything close. I would take the replica.

    I had a 1973 XB Fairmont, 302, 4 door vinyl roof etc, squeaked like heck in the front left side as they all did, traded it on a 1974  Jaguar XJ6 , 4.2 liter 6 cylinder,
