  New in Amazon a series 5 good entry kit starts at around 1K and you can get a very good series 6 for up to 1,800. You'll usually need to add a set of good earphones, drumsticks, throne and an amp if you desire to play it like a real kit. 
  
  Seems like pretty soon they'll only make the very basic series 4 and series 6, along with their pro line.
