The government said I should get it, therfore I'll never get it.
Forget the Government.  How about because friends and family would hate to lose you?

I don't know about a 3rd testicle, someone told me my you know what would double in size.  Wife told me to get a double dose.

If the worst side effect is my vestigial tail falling off and finally being able to see in colors, fine for me.

I get what you mean but I'd rather take my chances with my own immune system. People have survived for millenia with just that. Im also a true believer of it being your time when it's your time and im not much of a religious man anymore.

Was talking yesterday to a guy who is buying me a 1300 shotgun and happens to be a neurologist who is "in the covid trenches" at a local public hospital, so he usually sees the worst and more advanced cases due to poor nutriton, too late reaction, misinformation, etc. He said to me that they have observed that -and I figure most of you already know this- worst cases have a VERY HIGH vitamin D deficiency, that those of black ancestry usually die quite fast from circulatory-related complications, and those of higher testosterone levels, usually related to baldness, or overweight will usually last very few days once they have to be plugged to oxigen.

So if you're going to trust your immune system, it might be wise to begin taking some extra sun and eating more "blue" saltwater fish like tuna, mackerel, etc. According to him, vitamine capsules are good, but the natural way is far better.

I haven't had the vaccination and don't intend to, at this point. I have worn a mask a few times, when it was required to gain entry to some place I wanted to go, but I don't think they make very much difference when you consider how the average person uses them. Social distancing, yes, that is just common sense. Handwashing, yes, also obvious.

I traveled over about a third of Texas, including the Houston and Dallas domed professional stadiums, during the high school football playoffs, as did most of my extended family, with no known ill effects. There were large crowds at every location. Rural Texans in my area have mostly been living their lives fairly normally throughout all of this, including letting the kids go to school and continue most of their peripheral activities.

I know that many areas have been hit hard by this, but I believe the statistics being put out by some pretty smart people that show about a 99% recovery rate, nationwide, without the vaccine. Yes, I know that every political faction has their own set of statistics, but my gut feeling is that this crisis has been heavily exploited and that the government and the media is engaging in massive misinformation. I'm not an "Anti Vaxer" - I've had numerous vaccinations throughout my long life, but that was during a time when I trusted information from the government a little bit more.

From my point of reference, the case for these non-FDA approved vaccines has not been made, by comparing the survival rate without the vaccine to the rate of serious side effects from the vaccine.

A vaccine pre warns your immune response to a hostile threat It doesn't mean that it will prevent you being infected, it helps prevent the disease state caused by the virus by giving your immune system a head start on it.

A simple way to think of it.

Someone with COVID sneezes and coughs all over you (you being a fully vaccinated person), you'll end up with COVID in you and have become infected. Because your immune system has seen it already, you (one the 95%)  **** it off and kill it before it has a chance to do anything other than sit there.

How effective that second part is depends on a lot of things, you may notice nothing at all (you normally have a couple of viruses onboard at any one time), the virus takes a slight hold and causes a minor disease state before your WBC spring into action.

Or you are one of the 5% and your immune system blows it/something has changed with the virus that hampers your response and you get the full blown disease state.

The vaccine can then make an infection less virulent with less transmission happening.

I don’t get the flu shot. Not getting this one either. Just because I don’t get the flu shot either. So, why start now?

Frankly, don't see a reason to at your age...you're healthy and active...I didn't start with the flu or pneumonia shots until I was 65 and that was only at the insistence of my Dr. whom I trust

Yep, I started mine at 60 for the same reason.  Never had one before but I’ve had no ill effects and I trust my Doctor implicitly, she’s brilliant and really an excellent Physician who really works with me to keep me healthy.  I’m one of the few odd souls that actually looks forward to my Doctor Office visits.

    Do you remember these?

    Polio

    Tetanus

    The Flu (Influenza)

    Hepatitis B

    Hepatitis A

    Rubella

Hib ( Haemophilus influenzae type b)

    Measles

    Whooping Cough (Pertussis)

    Pneumococcal Disease

    Rotavirus

    Mumps

    Chickenpox

    Diphtheria

All killers, predominantly of very small children.

My 14 month old grandson will not be one of those.

But we will put the clock back just so you don't feel too guilted, bless your heart.

All of those which were tested for YEARS before being brought to market, not just developed in 10 months and then put to use on humans in hopes that all ends well. I actually have restless leg syndrome. Many people still haven't heard of it and I won't sit here to try to explain what it is because it's not pertinent to my point here but some people have it so bad that they committ suicide because it drives them crazy enough to do so. Do you know the long term effects of that vaccine that you trust so much? Reason I ask is because there's alot of things in this world that's worse than death.

Couple of doctors who also are researchers I spoke with said that with current simulators and scientific procedures labs have a VERY good chance of doing things right on the run, unlike previous vaccines like those listed above that due to scientific restrictions they had back when developed (Many between the late 1800s and mid-1900s) needed lots of "hit & miss" experimentations, trials, tests, etc.

Not saying that they could have delivered an unperfect product but with current situation I think that taking the chance is better than risking a deadly infection either to you or any of those around you.

BTW although greatly contained, many of those diseases are still active down here in the 3rld. world in small pockets that pop out every once in a while and trust me, results can be nasty to those unlucky enough to catch any of them and have devastating consequences to their relatives.

If the vaccine is as effective as its apologists want us to believe, then what difference does it make to others whether a person gets it or not? They're vaccinated, thus protected (by their logic).

That's my point as well. All I've said here is my reason that I don't want it and why I won't get it. There's only one person that's responded that others should get it. I'm all about personal choice.

Hey Zorba... how about you use the term "sheep" next time instead of Koolaide drinkers? I am sure your stupid assertions mixed with moronic assumptions would work better.

Sorry to say, this isn't about you. This about Zee's mom and his rancher friend. This is about my uncle that will eventually die from lung cancer... he doesn't need you jerkoffs to push him over the cliff. Get over yourself.
