Ok let’s kick this one awake.  I sent stuff out to Jay and Knitepoet.

I just realized I need .44 special dies.  Apparently the .44 mag Lee dies I have are only good for 44 mag…

If you have a set tell me what you need or are interested in and I’ll be happy to look see if I have it which I probably do…
    I’m baaaaaaaaack… 😬

    I
I wonder why you couldn't load .44 special with them?
    That's all I got.

I have the same set and the seat/crimp die will not crimp on the shorter Spl case.

Yep and the load through/expander die doesn’t bell the case mouth enough to reliably seat bullets.  Dies are too long.

Of course I completely agree and understand.
I'll have to go find mine but IIRC they came with a washer the exact distance of the difference between .44 mag and .44 special.
Screw the die down on the washer and you've switched calibers.
Almost all my loading is done on an RL550 so not much use for the powder thru feature.
    That's all I got.

I’m trying to visualize what you’re saying but my Lee set did not come with a washer.  Actually it’s marked .44 Mag and says nothing about SPL.  The die is too long and while it will seat a bullet to a .44 spl case even when cranked all the way down I won’t crimp it at all.

It’s all good, another great forum member hooked me up with a nice set of RCBS dies that’ll do both so I’m good to go now!

ok, here's one that might attract some attention.  I was going to use this for a gun for my granddaughter but if she takes up hunting I already have several suitable guns for her so...

Original Weatherby Vanguard child/female stock.  NOT a cut down stock, the real thing, probably from the 80s when the Vanguard came with good synthetic stocks.  I was about to post this one on eBay but I though plenty of folks here have kids/grandchildren/wives and might be able to use it so you guys get first dibs.

The stock is all black SOLID synthetic.  This is the old style SOLID stock NOT the new plastic hollow one and it comes with the original Weatherby recoil pad.  If you have a Weatherby Vanguard or Howa 1500 that you want a female or child to inherit this will allow you to have them shoot/hunt now and when they grow up (if needed) you can switch back to the adult stock.

This is a very nice quality stock and they almost NEVER come up for sale anywhere and it's NOS (new old stock), I don't believe a gun action has ever been it so you can do your own bedding, color scheme etc.  I'm open for what have you.  Its got some storage marks on it but that's it.  Again this o=is not the current cheap plastic stocks.  When they (infrequently) come up they bring good money in auctions.

I need a cheap scope! My BIL pissed me off for the last time but I love my sister and it's my 10-22 and Single Six that keep her chickens safe. Well I want my guns back so I found a Savage 34 single shot for $40. A 1" side mount scope system cost me another $35. Now I need a scope! Nothing fancy, old is better, a fixed power is fine, it just has to be 1" tube. I hate spending money to get my guns back!

I've got a tasco 6-24x40 (or maybe 44( I have no use for
It's a pretty big scope though

Plus probably 2-3 more laying around. Hell, I might send the whole lot of them to you.
