How to be a cowboy on Netflix

This is a cross between Duck Dynasty and the Tiger King, very corny but we found it entertaining...sort of!  It's filmed on the Radiator Ranch which they say is in Winnebago TX which doesn't exist.  I guess they don't want people to know where it's really located.  We figure it's somewhere in Young county not too far from my ranch.  The first episode they go to the Graham Sale Barn in Graham TX which is where I buy and sell my cattle.  They did one episode at Possum Kingdom lake which is near me.

Like I said it's kind of corny but we did get some giggles out it!  Really hoping they don't do a season 2!  One season was enough!

It's only four episodes so it's a short watch!

Well Graham is close to New Castle, both are in Young County. Dale/Clint's LinkedIn info is out of New Castle. Maybe you can pay a visit 🤔

New Castle is only 13 miles from us!  That would make sense!

Jeff, you need to figure out if they are filming another season and photobomb for us.

Yeah, I got you on that.  The only reason we watched it seemed to be filmed near us.  Like I said it's a cross between Duck Dynasty with Uncle Si and the Tiger King.

Just tried to watch… I alternated between laughing at them, and cringing.  I will try to finish it later.

and…. Was the intern wearing her cowboy hat backwards?

When they were putting the brush pile together for burning I’m thinking “that thing is gonna blow up”.  Well… 🤣

Also, the cow getting out of the gate at the Graham sale barn, that was made for TV.  They'd never let that happen.  We have to tie our trailer gates to the drive through gates so that can't happen.  It did make for a fun time.  However 75 yards across the parking lot is a 65 MPH road!  That wouldn't have been good if the cow took off across the parking lot and out to the road and got hit by a vehicle.  Again, made for TV

Yeah I kind’a assumed that.  We used to buy a lot of horses at auctions for training.  Could think of a way to end up loosing one.  BTW how’s the new horse treating you?

Damn you, I’m just wasting my whole Friday afternoon watching it (it’s ok I’m working the whole weekend).  The Cowboy challenge was awesome and the feed race was FUNNY!

I do recall putting a warning up!  At least it was only four episodes!

I give the gal credit, she never gave up on her bull riding dream!  Personally I love watching barrel racing!  Now those gals can fly and turn on a dime!

The new horse has settled right in. She enjoys the great outdoors and free grazing. We put them in the horse ring at night which has a couple bails of coastal hay and a 12’x12’ lean to. We had to trench a 500’ water line to fill the water trough. When the sun goes down, they’ll be grazing by the gate waiting to go in. The ring is 178’ long and 80’ wide. Life is great!
