New slashy cutter…

So until I get the Ruger my wife bought me this as one of my upcoming B-Day gifts… I have a lot pretty knives.  This thing is a useable little beast.  5” blade shaving sharp.  About .25” thick and made is the USA.  What’s not to like!

Nice looking knife, what brand is it?

Hogue!  A2 steel and built like a little brick outhouse!  The sheath is made by Spec-Ops, also high quality and made in the USA too!  I have a few of them on other knives.  Good stuff.

Thanks!  Funny I got it cause it reminds me of your RAT knife and I know it’s one of your favorites.   Am I remembering correctly?

I seem to recall you saying how nice it was and the idea of a knife like that was seared in my mind waiting for the opportunity.  Didn’t bump into a RAT locally but I saw this and…. Basically the same concept, an all business blade.

That's beautiful, what's the price tag on something like that!
Distance is not an issue, but the wind can make it interesting!

👍. Actually they make several models of folders and fixed blades.  They also make knives for other folks like I think SIG IIRC.

Roughly $200.  This one was New Old Stock at my partners LGS (they kind’a forgot it was in the stock room) so he gave me family pricing 😁 they come in 5” and 7” blades.  This one is a 5”.
