New acquisition. Magnum snubbie.

Been working lots of overtime recently. Looking around a few of the guns shops and picked up this thing.
Yes it's a Taurus, but for the price and the only other thing was a Charter Arms but would be 38 special only. Anything else in a magnum was twice the price.
Played with it quite a bit, fit and finish is actually good and the trigger is nice. Too busy to shoot it and the range was packed, but will be interesting. Came with the two and three finger grips
19.25 ounces Empty.
22.225 loaded with five 158 grain fully magnum hydrashok. Yes it will be a handful but should serve me well.

Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.

Are those nut recesses in the frame? Is it put together with nuts and bolts?
Yes Zee it is put together with nuts and bolts since the frame is two piece. Funny thing is the nuts are security Torx...which i happen to have.
On a side note the frame being polymer is larger than normal so it won't fit the holster the steel 605 does. I have heard the sp101 holsters fit. Anyone happen to have a spare?

Can you post a pic or two of the inside of the frame window?
Looks like they've created a metal chassis that starts with a flame-cut shield above the barrel, goes down to probably have a threaded insert for the barrel, goes down further to contain the crane and to the rear for the recoil shield and mounting the guts.
Any metal on the topstrap?

Fits like a literal glove. Tight and well made. $44 and worth every cent so far.
