Haven’t done this in a while.  Celebrating our best friends!

My partner in crime and adventure, Gracie, though I call her the Kraken.  She’s a little over a year and a half but probably the smartest dog I’ve ever had and that bar is HIGH!

Feels like this was just last week.  The day we picked her up…

Top of the world, well at least east of the Mississippi 🤣

Always looking to see what’s next.

AND she loves watching Fox News and Westerns!

I’m baaaaaaaaack… 😬

Always wanted one of those.  Envisioned myself on the porch of my cabin, double shotgun on my lap and pooch asleep at my feet 😁

This is Juniper. She's a Chiweenie. She keeps me company and the pack straight. We have 5 right now.

My Border Collie, Smokey, passed away last year at the age of fifteen.  Meet Jake, my new Border Collie, the terror of the homestead, getting into everything.

Above is Gus, now gone. Great dog though bassetts are not for everyone. Never needed an alarm clock with him around.

Below are Pippa, mom, on the left and Daphne her daughter on the right. Photo bomb courtesy of Daisy, not ours.

This is “the kiddo’s” Rat Terrorist named ‘Trooper’

i put “the kiddo’s” in quotes since I’m the one that feeds, cares for, walks, etc… this little dork. So- the dog has claimed me, and does not deal with the kiddo much at all

Cutie!  The ACD is technically speaking my wife’s dog.  She feeds, walks, bathes etc.

I’m the fun parent.  All I have to do is say the word Jeep, and mom is Swiftly abandoned without even a backwards glance.  Oh she sleeps glued to me… 😁

We had two ten year old Border Collie brothers until last month when we lost one to a blood disorder. Charlie Chaplin on the left and Doc Holliday on right. Doc is still with us, hopefully for several more years.

That is so sad, and I completely understand.  Jake is my fourth Border Collie.

Miss Zahara de la Sierra is number 4 for us, we had to put our previous one down end of March 2020, she missed 14 years by 2 months, she was an awesome pup.  Still miss her greatly.  This little one is shaping up to also be awesome, too smart for her own good.  Both pups picked me during our initial meet, we had pick of the litter both times, or should I say they had pick of their "parents" LOL
