Stevens 94 Series M break action single shot 12 gauge
My neighbor handed me this shotgun he found in his father's attic after his passing. It was in poor condition with surface rust, cracks in the stock and the finish was alligator skin. After a lot of work, I have it 80% restored. It will still look like an old shotgun. I identified it as being made in 1963 serial # P9945XX. I have I've found the inspector's stamps and barrel and frame match. I just can't find the choke stamps. I've searched the web to no avail. There is a circled 75 and 76 on each side of the barrel, and what I believe are the inspectors marks in a vertical line E C 19 on the barrel and frame. There are some marks on top of the barrel near the chamber that I can't make out. My mics are in the shed with my reloading equipment and I can't get to them. Any guess what the choke on this barrel is?
I should have (again) taken before pics. The stock is in my shop at work and will be finished on Tuesday. I'll post picks when it's done.
