Is this worth anything?

Found this knife on an estate auction website. I have no need for it but I thought if the price is right, what the heck. So, what would be a good price?

    If it doesn't have the sheath, I wouldn't go over $5-6, personally.

    The older USA made ones are gaining traction on eBay.  But as a used one with no sheath it’ll lag behind in value to more desirable ones in better condition.  

    However it’s a heck of a field blade and if you can pick it up for a reasonable price you’ll have a better knife than a lot of the modern production stuff they sell nowadays and it’ll serve you and yours well for a few generations.

    It’s a °IIIII° thing 😎

    That is a good knife.  I have one of the newer ones which serves its purpose.
    We purchased a house a few weeks ago that came as.  In the closet was a much older version of that knife.  Wicked sharp, but alas like that one no sheath.

    eBay has all sorts of generic leather sheaths that will work as well as some originals from time to time

    Yep "Sharp Finger", I still have mine from the early 80's. They gave them out with a Guns and Ammo subscription back then. It has an oval shield on each side that says "Guns and Ammo".
    Always in my deer pack, great high carbon blade.

    I didn’t know anyone else had one of those.  I just have mine away to a friend that’s a big fan of those blades.

    Thanks for your replies it does have the sheath. I’ll keep an eye on it and see what happens closer to the end. The high bid was $3.00 last night

    There’s also a homemade holster. Not pretty and I can’t tell what size pistol, SA, it may fit. But, to me it borders on folk art. I’ll post a picture shortly.

    I found my Sharp Finger stuck in a log next to a gut pile in the woods not far from the Pere Marquette River many years ago...

    With or without the sheath that’s a no-brained on the knife.  The holster looks long enough for a 5 1/2” SA.  Pretty cool work 👍

    It does.  If I bumped into it at a gun show and it was a reasonable price, I'd buy it just because.  it looks pretty well made.  Finishing the edges (would take like 5 minutes) would improve the appearance considerably too.

    Those are great knives, the older US made ones. My dad has a “scrimshaw” s charade as well it’s the only other one I’ve ever seen. They are both marked USA 152. Perfect for any field dressing needs from rabbit to elk, the scrimshaw and done jt all. 
    Aim higher, or get a bigger gun.

    I didn’t get it. I decided I just didn’t need it. 

    However, I was a store recently and they had some Uncle Henry brand knives that while they were in the sheath it looked like it was the same style knife. Is Schrade and Uncle Henry one and the same company?

    The new ones are made off shore somewhere. The old ones marked Schrade are good knives the new ones meh.
