Our Scouting involvement grows...
Okay, this year they asked me to be the Tiger Den Leader; I accepted and have loved every minute.
Our current Pack Treasurer's boy is now a Boy Scout, not a cub, and feels she needs to move on to his troop. She has kept up, very well I might add, but decided she'd like a replacement.
Who did all the leaders unanamously make first choice? My wife. And she accepted.
I'm only in my second year of Scouting and first year of being a leader, so to me this seems like a vote of confidence in my wife, myself and my boys.
Just had to share as I am proud not only of the offer, but the fact that DW accepted.

I've also had basic scout master training as well as wood badge training. BSA is a great organization, and I congratulate you and your son for being part of it.
When my son attended his very first cub scout pack meeting where he was introduced to scouting, he told me that he would be an Eagle some day. I thought that was good, but had my doubts. When he made good on his promise, I was a very proud papa. I hope you'll get to have that feeling some day as well.
Good luck to the both of you.
